Stone Arabia by Dana Spiotta

Stone Arabia

Stone Arabia deals with the subject of sibling relationships. I found little else in this book that I enjoyed. I was right at the cusp of dropping this book.
The book centers around Denise Kranis and her family relationships: her brother, Nik, her daughter Ada Vogel, an ex-husband, and mother Ella Kranis who is suffering from the early onset of dementia. Nik Worth had a short lived music career around 1979. Since then he’s created a fantasy career based on unreleased music he makes in his garage.
