The Gods Of Guilt by Michael Connelly

The Gods Of Guilt

The Gods Of Guilt: Mickey Haller #5 is a good story with a good plot, however the characters seem a little thin. Mickey Haller, the hero of the story is a excellent defense lawyer but it doesn’t pay well, and it is playing hell with his personal life. At the end of the last book #4 “The Fifth Witness” Mickey was going to run for District Attorney. But this didn’t work out after one of his clients he got off, managed to kill his daughter’s classmate and mother. This case isn’t much better. Everyone is awful. But we still root for Mickey, can he win this case? Connelly does a good job set up the story, and the court room action is pretty good. Connelly throws in enough twists so you keep your nose in the book.
