Racecar by Matt Brown

Racecar: Searching For The Limit In Formula SAE is about a college engineering student who managed a racing team at Oklahoma University in 2007. Brown has written an entertaining memoir of his trials and tribulations: the day and night work to make their race car competitive. The cars that race in Formula SAE are one step up from go-karts but they have all the components of a Formula One Racer. In addition the teams are judge on their designs and their team’s ability to explain their engineering. Brown also shows the dark side of his racing obsession. The final chapter covers the Oklahoma Team’s race at 2007 FSAE West, in Fontana CA, on Saturday, June 16, 2007.
