A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman

A Man Called Ove

With all the five star reviews, I expected a lot more from this novel.  Basically it’s a story of a grumpy old man with a sad past.  He is called the bitter neighbor from hell, but eventually he finds love and purpose in his life.  Ove is not sympathetic – at least not in my opinion.  The novel was filled with little tales from his life; about 10% humorous and very predictable.  This book just wasn’t for me.
